Cesira's was established in 1972 by Cesira and Bruno Aiudi in their small home. In 1976 the original building and the house next door were joined together to form the present day building. Our restaurant features five small dining rooms: four with four tables and one room with six tables.

Today, son Frank and his wife Vicki Aiudi are working together to provide you with the absolute best dining available: using recipes handed down through the generations to Nonna Cesira.

Fully half of Cesira's menu is dedicated to our speciality: "Handmade Pasta"; Tender Veal, Filet Mignon and Seafood are also available. Our savoury Veal Picata al'Prosciutto is the finest anywhere along with the Veal Marsala.

ABOUT US

Born in Italy, Frank Aiudi immigrated with his parents as a small child. His parents opened the Coral Coffee Shop when he has 12 years old. They moved to open Cesira's in 1972. He grew up in the restaurant business and has made it his career. Frank has led Cesira's through several renovations. One where the two houses were joined and double capacity to 76 people.

As customer demands have changed, so has the menu. During his career at Cesira's he has attended regular trade shows in North Bay, Hostex in Toronto, the National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago, etc.. His community service included Queenstown Board of Management for 10 years, Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for four years, and is an A.C.T./U.C.T. member for the past 20 years.

Vicki Aiudi was born in Sault Ste. Marie has managed restaurants for almost 20 years. She was a franchisee for Golden Griddle prior to managing Cesira's with her husband Frank. Vicki has university and college training in Accounting and Business, Hotel and Restaurant management and went through all the management courses at McDonald's world famous Hamburger University in Chicago, Illinois.
